Materials & Systems

Good rooms are ruined by bad light more often than by bad design.

A grid of identical downlights at 6000K will flatten the most expensive marble you can buy. Layer the light, warm it, and put it where the eye needs it — the room changes completely and the ceiling does not.

What we supply

Fittings, drivers and control as one system.

Most dimming problems are a mismatch between the lamp and the driver — bought separately, discovered on handover day.

01

Interior Lighting

Ambient, task and accent layers on separate circuits, so one room can be bright for cleaning and low for sitting.

02

Architectural & Cove

Linear runs, coves and shadow gaps with the profile and diffuser chosen so you see a line of light, not a row of dots.

03

Exterior & Landscape

Uplights, step lights and path lighting at the right IP rating for coastal air, aimed away from windows and neighbours.

04

Control & Dimming

Scene control matched to the drivers, tested as a system before handover — not a smart switch bolted on afterwards.

Worth knowing

Three numbers to insist on.

They cost nothing to specify and are almost impossible to change later.

2700–3000K

Warm white flatters stone, wood and skin. Cooler light belongs in a workshop.

CRI 90+

Below 90, colours go grey. It is the difference between marble and concrete.

One batch

LEDs vary between production runs. Mixed batches show as uneven colour on one ceiling.

Next step

How a room is used decides the lighting far more than its size. Tell us both and we will schedule the fittings.
